Zero + Maria Cornejo

Born in Chile, Maria Cornejo moved to England when she was a child. She moved to New York with her husband and two children in 1996. Prompted by a desire to re-connect with the core of her ideas about design, cutting and garment construction, she transformed a raw space in Nolita into a highly creative atelier and store. Her uncompromising and very personal approach has gained her a loyal following and high praise from clients like Tilda Swinton, Cindy Sherman and Michelle Obama. The Zero + Maria Cornejo collection is presented bi-annually during New York Fashion Week and Paris.
